Not to be a full-on
hater, but I totally think Heather Mills is full of
S. In the words of Dr. Phil, she "Needs to chill."
(He seriously just used those words. Ask Meredith
Viera.) Now, Mills is claiming Paul hit her.

affect sales. (Billboard)

The "Don't Tase Me, Bro" dude was on the Today show this morning with
his parents and a lawyer. He says the UF police
were just "doing their job." Confused? You can

Introducing RokandLola.com!
RokandLola.com,
a cool new dotcom for the latest trends in fashion.
For the past few months,
I've been working on launching a new shopping site,
RokandLola.com, which I'm
thrilled to announce is now up and running!
Rok & Lola is a fabulous boutique in Red Bank,
NJ—the "hippest" town in Jerz (lets pretend people
still use the word 'hip.') Before R&L came to
town, us locals had limited access to trends beyond
the Gap and Old Navy, so needless to say, they've
been welcomed by a hungry clientele, sick of
lackluster trips to the mall.
(Insert Jersey mallrat/ hair/ parkway joke here. Now
shut up and keep reading.)

October has become
synonymous with walking, glossing and ribbon-ing in various shades of
pink. Breast Cancer Awareness Month
makes it easy to support breast cancer research
with its seemingly millions of limited-edition
products made exclusively (or partially) for the
cause. Below, I've listed and linked out my
favorites.

Shoes and the City
Stuart Weitzman
Ice Pack Sandals, $450, Madison Avenue Store:

Since
they started filming, I've become so impatient for
Sex and the City to hit theaters that at
this point, I don't care if all they do is kvetch in
the coffee shop for three hours straight. As long as
they work in wardrobe changes between topics, and the
girls excuse themselves to the powder room to so we
can get us a few good shoe shots.
Speaking of shoe shots from the set, just saw one of
Kim Catrall sporting
a-ma-zing Stuart Weitzman pumps while
filming this weekend. Above, a close-up.
Hot.
Way too hot for coffee
shop kvetching.
Come to think of it, I'd
like to watch Carrie and Big drive around aimlessly
in his limo as a real couple (will they still do
that?). Also, I'm curious to see if Brady will
reprise his "good boy" role in the film. Will his
character go the troubled way of fellow HBO son
Anthony Soprano? Hey, its been, like, three years...
anything is possible. Anything!
OK, I lied... they better cover every
SATC-ism imaginable....
But can someone please tell them to hurry up?? I'm
dyin' over here...
Ralph Lauren Introduces Rugby.com
Rugby
by Ralph Lauren (Rugby.com)
Gone are the days of seeing rugby players for the
sweaty, brawny, daisy duke-wearing athletes they are.
Enter Rugby.com, Ralph Lauren's
newest line for men and women that puts a modern
twist on prep school chic. Rugby launched in 2004
in Boston, and is now in eight storefronts around
the country, including one near
NYU in Manhattan.
I'm obsessed with the site, which isn't surprising —
Polo.com has the most
user-friendly interface of any shopping site on my
radar. Rugby.com has a similar feel,
with an interactive history on the sport's signature shirt, a blog, video components, digital wallpapers and gorgeous
photo galleries.
The only thing I couldn't find were details on where
these guys and gals gather for post-game drink ups.
Let me know if you can find those anywhere...

It's On! Macy's Fall Sale Starts Today
Photo:
Macys.com
A little birdie filled me in on a not-so-secret shopping tip this afternoon: Macy's storewide Fall Sale has officially started. I'm psyched because I usually find out about these events way too late in the game. If you can't make it to the store, the site is chock full of steals, and definitely worth a look-see. I plan to hit up their shoe selection, which I've noticed has been carrying really cool brands lately.
Spot Check: What's in My Makeup Bag?
When I do wear makeup, I've been known play "Make Believe: The Makeup Artist Edition." I love experimenting with colors and techniques and new products. Here's a shot of what my "primary" makeup bag looks like at the moment:
Fascinating, huh? FYI,
the whole
overflowing-with-makeup-and-won't-zipper-look isn't
for dramatic effect, I've been too lazy to either
switch to a bigger case or transfer some products
into my "secondary" stash.
Click below for a list of what's inside and
why.

Wanna hear one of my
all-time favorite stories? Cool, here goes:
Once upon a time, in the very late 90's, a beautiful
twentysomething girl from Connecticut was going
through a typical quarter-life crisis. She had just
graduated college with a degree in theatre, wasn't
sure what she wanted career-wise and landed a few
great jobs that didn't really suit her. Then, a bad
breakup with a bf was added into the mix. OY. So she
did what any normal girl would do in her sitch—she
packed up her shiz and moved to Cali.
Wait, it gets better...

Stuart Weitzman Celebrity Shoe Auction
Courtney Cox's
masterpiece, up for auction right now on
StuartWeitzman.com
It's
that time again! The Seventh Annual Celebrity Shoe
Auction, hosted by Stuart Weitzman (you know,
designer of the ultra-luxe shoe brand), is officially
up and running! This year's bidding contest will be
live on StuartWeitzman.com through the
month of September in honor Ovarian Cancer
Awareness Month, and will close on October 4,
2007. All proceeds from the auction will benefit
ovarian cancer research.
As if that isn't enough incentive to check
it out, get a load of this:
To spice things up a bit, Mr. Weitzman enlisted the
help of celebs to design special shoes for bidding! A
few participating stars: Oprah Winfrey, Queen
Latifah, Molly Sims, Courteney Cox-Arquette, Hayden
Panettiere, Kelly Ripa, Kyle MacLachlan, Marcia
Cross, Nicolette Sheridan, Sharon Stone, Vanessa
Williams...the 'A-list' goes on and on. Each shoe is
hand-crafted and autographed by its creator. My
favorite one is Courtney Cox's (see above image)
because I can picture her daughter looking on as she
painted the little birds. I also like Queen Latifah's
fishnet-covered pump—it's so fun! Which one do you dig?
Rihanna is the Driest
Above:
Totes.com shopping page
for an umbrella "Just like the one Rihanna
uses..."
I actually heard about
these puppies about a month ago, but the concept
didn't strike me as completely bizarre until just
now. Apparently, Rihanna is considered a certified
umbrella connoisseur. Obviously, because of her hit
single from the summer, she knows all about them.
Need An Outfit for the US Open?
I don't. But I kind of wish I did,
because I'm obsessed with all of these clothes. Can
you buy them if you promise to watch the matches on
TV?
(Photo: Polo.com)
Click on the image for a
preview!
Can we talk before you buy another shirt? Thanks.

The thing about shopping online is,
your friends aren't around to tell you the cigarette
pants you're considering accentuate your hips.
Enter, Kaboodle.com
(no, its not
an ebay link to turquiose makeup cases from
the early '90's... sorry ). It's actually a social
network that makes it easy to confer with friends
before buying clothes, gadgets or accessories.
Isn't that awesome!? Now there really is no excuse
for making a purchase solely based on your own
opinion. Genius!
My favorite part is the wish list feature... although
I always fall for the marketing ploys behind those
things and they they quickly turn into "I now own
this" lists.
